Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Demarcation/Layout of the project
2. Supervision of the project work progress and its quality based on technical specifications like; foundation excavation, Mortar ratio, Quality of masonry work, watering and curing of structures and etc.
3. Check quality of construction materials like; sand and gravel and etc. on the site.
4. Record keeping of construction material and tools and equipments of the project.
5. Record keeping of projects daily progress
6. Keeping of project technical documents
7. Keep journal book for each project and follow-up of the feedbacks
8. Project budget control
9. Follow the project to be completed during its planned duration
10. Assist surveyor in conducting of projects’ survey.
11. Cooperate Monitoring team during project monitoring
12. Keep labors daily attendance register (if needed)
13. Assist community in project technical issues
14. Cooperate in community mobilization to contribute for project implementation and ensuring community based maintenance of the project.
15. Report the work progress to the immediate supervisor (Provincial engineer)
16. Any other tasks given by the supervisor.

Qualifications required:
Education: Civil Engineer or graduate from Relevant Institutes or equivalent
Experience: Implementation of infrastructure projects for the minimum 3 years experiences.
Advantageous other qualifications:
Computer skill, Operating of Photocopy machine
Languages: Dari, Pashto preferable for English

• Professionalism: Strong theoretical background and substantive experience in all phases of national/international procurement operations and in contracting for a diverse range of goods, works and services; good working knowledge of Afghan procurement law; good negotiating skills to shape and influence agreements with requisitioning units and vendors; sound judgment in applying technical expertise to resolve a range of issues/problems;
• Team Work: Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals
• Leadership: Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad range of people to understand needs and gain support
• Communication: Very good communications skills both written and spoken, including the ability to communicate effectively on procurement related matters and prepare a variety of written documents, contracts, reports etc. in a clear, concise style.
• Technology Awareness: Good computer skills, including proficiency in procurement computer systems, spreadsheets, database and Internet applications.
• Respect for Diversity: Works effectively with people from all background
• Integrity: Demonstrates the values of the national cultures in daily activities and behavior and does not abuse power or authority
