Job Summary:

MADCC is looking for a bold and creative Social Media Officer who can enhance MADCC brand and build strong online communities through MADCC various social media platforms. The Social Media Officer will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns. Hence, Social media Officer is the voice of MADCC on social and digital media sites.

Duties & Responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages company social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and other relevant platforms.
  • Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
  • Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
  • Works closely with community team or social media team to create engaging content for a company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
  • Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects
  • Ensuring that approaches to social media are relevant and appropriate for each medium
  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar
  • Identify tactical and relevant opportunities to engage with client communities
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach
  • Create methods for finding and saving online customer reviews
  • Responding to and addressing the community’s queries and complaints efficiently, professionally and timeously
  • Analyzing social media insights to guide future social media campaigns 
  • Provide feedback from social media trends and research; relay it to business strategy team through a proper channel of MADCC
  • Manages social media communications in a wider sense
  • Keep fully up to date with all that is happening within MADCC
  • Working with other staff effectively to help maximize their performance by working as one team
  • Maintains an up-to-date and organized filing system related to social media 
  • As other task assigned by Supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing and social media
  • Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
