Job Summary:

The social organizer will be fully responsible to maintain close relationship with the communities to facilitate a smooth programme and project implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•To effectively mobilize communities and ensure awareness building as per the project goals and objectives;
•To organize and manage regular meetings with the community in the development area with regard to different issues of the areas;
•Interested to work with children at district level;
•To translate information and reports from local to the English language in understandable level;
•Maintain all documents related to the areas in standard filing system;
•Prepare regular reports and submit to the Program Officer
•To ensure active women participation in all aspects of program implementation as per AAA approach;
•To carry out social audits in the community to ensure transparency and accountability in program implementation;
•To build the capacities of community members on different issues related to the project goals and objectives; and
•Facilitate Actionaid Programs according to the action plan
•Perform other related activities assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirement:

•Secondary Education high school graduated
•At least two years working experience in the community;
•Having experience in community mobilization and advocacy work;
•Good interpersonal skills;
•Ability to facilitate and understand community dynamics and self-motivated;
•Needs to be assertive in implementing work activities;
•Excellent communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto both verbally and written;
•Report writing skill;
•Excellent interpersonal relations, enthusiasm to do the job;
•An advocate of team spirit in the work place; and
•Willingness to work in tough conditions and in learning new things.
•Willingness to frequently travels to the project site
