The Youth component Sports and culture Manager Responsibilities includes:
• Responsible for the implementation of the project (youth component) with the best practices.
• Make a plan on day to day implementation of the each and every component of the youth projects.
• Manage a number of minimum 20 staff members, both male and female and provide them support to run and manage the programs with the aim of establishment of Youth Councils, Youth Training Centres, and Workshops for creation income and employment opportunities for the rural youth and so on.
• Implement and run the different training programs, like-Agriculture environmental; Literacy Numeracy English; Computer; Vocational/Professional; Business management marketing and so on.
• Provide support for promotion of sports and cultures and arrange the sports and cultural events in rural areas of three districts of Faryab province.
• Supervise all aspects of different activities of the youth project, including: awareness-raising for potential youth members and different Community Based Organizations’ policy development.
• Act as the key personnel of the youth project and liaising with different government authorities, partner organizations, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
• Design a training plan and arrange different training session for the youth's capacity development in the various fields and assist to enhance youth's leadership and capacity in solving the problems on different social conflicts..
• Make a training plan and assist to arrange and conduct training for youth councils' members to enhance their leadership and skills.
• Prepare reports for presentation to the Country Director, Area Coordinator, Program Manager and government officials as needed.
• Manage the youth Development centre
• Identify opportunities for gainful legal employment of youth
• Promote social service and sport activities among youth
• Initiate and assist to identify the new inclusions and development strategies for rural youth people to bring positive changes in their lives.
• Assist to build up a free, fair democratic society with the good governance policy and practice where a co-existence of different level of people irrespective of religion, casts, gender would be ensured.
• Design necessary forms and formats to collect program’s information.
• Work in close co-operation with Presidency of Youth
• Any other responsibilities as prescribed by Area Co-ordinator or Project manager

Qualified candidates must have:
• To be Afghan nation.
• Graduate from recognised university in youth development discipline or any other relevant degree.
• At least 2/3 years working experience in a development setting. Experience in setting-up and working with youth people
• Prior working experience in mobilising the youth people in different development activities.
• Prior working experience in organizing the sports and cultural events is highly desirable.
• Computer skill and English speaking fluency is required.
• Good communication and presentation skills, ability to initiate and facilitate youth mobilization.
• Strong leadership abilities
• Proficient in written and oral communication skills in Dari.
• Ability and courage to work with community people is highly desirable.
• Willing to work in insecure locations.
