Founded in 2004, The First Microfinance Bank - Afghanistan (FMFB-A) is part of the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance (AKAM), which has programmes in over 10 countries throughout the developing world. FMFB-A's vision is to be recognized as the leading microfinance services provider contributing to poverty alleviation and economic development through the provision of sustainable financial services primarily targeting micro/small businesses and households. The bank provides credit and deposit products to a wide range of clients including micro, small and medium enterprises along with commercial banking and international remittance services. The bank is also a member of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) - an independent network of banks using finance to deliver sustainable economic, social and environmental development. The position of Application Management Senior Officer mainly involved in providing support and develop solutions for business users, departments and respond to queries with respect to system. Manage, Update, maintain performance and tune business applications within Application Management domain.
1-Plan, coordinate and closely monitor database, application and development activities with the team.
2-Conduct system analysis, feasibility study and produce diagrams for Information system processes and flows.
3-Design & Develop applications, database and /or modify existing database and application based on new requirements.
4-Developing, testing, troubleshooting and debugging of the applications.
5-Knowledge of HTML, XML, J2EE and JAVA technologies.
6-Deployment of customized GUI codes and UI components on HTTP server.

8-Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications.
9-Fixing bugs and performance problems.
10-Familiarity with the JSON formats.
11-Understanding knowledge in usage of Java, XML, Android SDK, Android Studio and APIs.
12-Writing clean, readable, and testable code.
13-Analyzing user requirements.
14-Develop and design reports using SQL and PLSQL quires and procedures.
15-Make sure software project development /implementation is carried out as per plan and any unexpected delay occurring are communicated with team leader or division head as soon as possible.
16-To provide support to End users of branches and other Departments as needed. 17-Identify system error message and interprets system dada input.
18-Ability to manage the time for responding and helping end-users for providing required information.
19-Ability to manage perform extra hours if required during Month and Year End activity.
20-Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the applications.
21-Perform any other relevant tasks and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
1-Bachelor degree computer science or any relevant field.
2-Strong programming in Java, PLSQL, SQL, C and C++.
3-Knowledge of software and application development.
4-Preferred to have experience in banking and 3 years’ experience in application and software development.
5- Familiarity with open source software will be an advantage.
6-Quick learner.
7- Good in communication and team working. Good To have:
8- UI & UX Experience.
9- Experience in payment gateway integration.
10- Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web APIs services.
