Job Summary:

Storekeeper/Accounting Technician FSN-07

Duties & Responsibilities:

The incumbent will have dual titles; Receiving Agent (aka Storekeeper) and Cost Accountant. As receiving agent (RA), this person manages all property and supplies received through General Services (GS) for INL Kabul, valued at one million dollars, and as the cost accountant (CA); this person examines and accounts for financial documents, obligations and commitments with Program and PD&S Budgets totaling two hundred and fifty million dollars.

1. EDUCATION: Bachelor degree in business or management field is required.

2. EXPERIENCE: One year experience in logistic and inventory management. One year of reporting cost data in or to a finance department is required.
3. LANGUAGE: Level III English (good working knowledge), Level IV Dari/Pashto (fluent) is required
4. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Experience in Excel, Word, Logistic software (i.e. E2 and ILMS), accounting information systems (i.e. RFMS); ability to lift 25kg; keyboarding 40wpm; driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
5. JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Process a solid knowledge of INL programs’ property & equipment, and INL financial management systems, to successful process, format, and enter cost data after reviewing appropriate documentation (cost reports, obligations, invoices, and disbursements) to maintain and reconcile records in ILMS and FMAR.
Experience in Excel, Word, Logistic software (i.e. E2 and ILMS), accounting information systems (i.e. RFMS); ability to lift 25kg; keyboarding 40wpm; driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
