Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Check and study the scope of work, technical requirements, site plan drawings, and specifications.
2. Read and implement all electrical drawings and designs at the site. 
3. Install electrical MV & HV equipment including but not limited to PTs, CBs, DS, Busbars, Panels.
4. Provide daily QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confront nonconformance to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner.
5. Document and record each phase's checklist.
6. Install and test LV equipment and familiar with LV, MV and HV tests and procedures. 
7. Effectively communicate with designated LAB team and schedule each required site tests.
8. Verify and ensure that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately, and are acceptable for use in the project.
9. Ensure that all tests are performed on the site and reported to the main office on daily basis properly.
10. Organize and follow up pre-, during-, and post-construction QC-related meetings.
11. Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports and project deficiencies.
12. Record project progress on daily basis.
13. Be aware of material submittals and their approval.
14. Prepare the closeout documents and complete the closeout phase of the project.
15. Check and control QC requirements as per the approved Quality control plan of the project.
16. Check the drawings and documents used at the site for approvals and compliance with (USACE) project requirements 
17. Ensure that all works are carried out as per the approved (USACE) method statements and drawings.
18. Plan ahead of time for any electrical utilities underground or within the buildings. 
19. Responsible for any corrective actions needed during construction.
20. Work extra hours & under tight deadlines when there is an emergency to be dealt with urgently.
21. Good knowledge of international standards preferably electrical. 
22. Any other job-related tasks that shall be assigned by the competent authority.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical QC Engineer (experience in USACE projects will be an advantage).

3. Able to prepare work progress reports: daily, weekly, and monthly.

4. Able to conduct three phases of inspection for each DFW

5. Knowledge of site tests preferably electrical and timely communication with LNQAs and CQCM

6. Having CQCM certification will be an asset.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
