Job Summary

The Dining Room Supervisor will assist in all areas of dining room procedure and operations to ensure maximum quality service to residents and their guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspects dining room for cleanliness, orderliness and security in order to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
• Communicates with staff during meal hours with regard to dining issues.
• Assists in orienting and training dining room employees.
• Assists in supervising dining room employees in all aspects of the dining experience.
• Assists with interviewing and training of new employees.
• Monitors and enforces behavior and dress code of dining room staff.
• Promotes proper food handling procedures to comply with sanitation and safety standards.
• Prepares rosters and task schedules.
• Assists with the downloading procedures at the end of each shift by utilizing a web based program to transfer information from the scanner to the meal reporting system.

Job Requirements

• High School graduate.
• Previous experience in the relevant field.
• Good English speaking.
• Team player.
