Job Summary:
Summary of position
Under the overall supervision of the NABDP the direct supervision of the Regional Chief Engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for all technical surveying aspects of projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Terms of Reference/Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the incumbent will be:
• Provide preliminary and technical survey for engineering projects and provide survey plan and projects mapping if applicable.
• Provide proper site selection for all kind of projects and provide data collection by GPS, level, Theodolite and Total station telescopically instruments.
• Provide data collection for well depths and population density for each water project and provide recording for ground water level depths in existing wells for survey.
• Capable of using survey Software accurately and precisely
• Provide quality investigation for ground water in survey areas and distinguish water discharge, water sources for all projects.
• Specify prices of existing local materials close to project sites and collect information about project beneficiaries (direct and indirect).
• Prepare briefing survey report to MRRD.
• Performing other duties assigned by relevant supervisor.
Job Requirement:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in geodesy.
Experience
Survey, plot and drawing projects. Must be a professional and certified Surveyor. Monitoring and implementation of infrastructure projects. Minimum work experience 3 years.
Advantageous other qualifications
Computer and MS-Office packages.
