Job Summary

The Information Technology Department is responsible to developing, delivering and maintaining information, management and communication technology capabilities using Microsoft products and solutions particularly in the area of Office Automation, Messaging and Networking.

The successful candidate will be required to implement, support and maintain the Office Automation Application mainly on Microsoft products and solution such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange E-Mail System and its supporting components.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support, develop, administer and maintain Office Automation infrastructure which include Microsoft Servers, data center, storage facilities and application software.
• Expert in Microsoft Technologies, WSUS Servers, Anti Virus Implementation.
• Support in design, deployment and configuration of new servers and storage solutions.
• Routine monitoring of the critical systems in the Data Center, keep track of audit logs, monitor the Exchange Queue, Data Traffic, Internet traffic.
• Develop administrative procedures, plan and policies for recurring system administration activities
Assist in the development of all IT-related responsibilities for the BCP/DRP plans
• Develop rules and policies for IT fair usage.
• Bring innovative ideas and solutions to improve the IT Infrastructure for the company
• Take up challenges and learn new technologies

Job Requirements

• Language requirements: English, Dari and Pashto
• Computer knowledge requirements – Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2003
• Abilities and personal traits the candidate must possess to better do this job such as ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, tact, negotiation skills, organizational skills etc.
