Chemonics RAMP UP South, Multi Location
The Systems Analyst will work closely with the Component 3 Team Leader (TL) to help implement and provide support to Kandahar City technical staff to manage the technology infrastructure. It is expected that analyst will help the TL to develop a Standard Operating Procedure for the municipal technical staff to help maintain the network.
• Work closely with technical consultants as needed.
• Collaborate with other project areas to insure maximum coordination among staff.
• Ensure staff usage of office network / IT systems is consistent with IT policies
• Troubleshoot internet, email, computer, printer and any other IT equipment issues, at individual desk level of users of computers and software programs
• Perform first line of defense maintenance and minor repairs on hardware equipment.
• Train individual users to learn and rigorously back up data regularly
• Follows all IT procedures and policy in RAMP UP Offices
• University degree in computer science and/or other technology certification in relevant field preferred.
• Minimum two-five years’ experience in local governance subject matter expertise including: urban planning, strategic planning, financial management, accounting, public works, or human resource management.
• Prior experience with foreign assistance funded programs preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities, especially in networking, MS Applications and MS Operating Systems
• Prior experience in desk-side training experience
• Pashto fluency required
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
