Duties & Responsibilities


Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.

Excellent knowledge of Windows 2008 server, Windows 2102 Server such as, Standard, Essential Server and Data Centre)

Excellent knowledge in CISCO Routers and Switches.

Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.

Analyze, isolate issues, and Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.

Evaluate and modify system's performance.

Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.

Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.

Design, deploy networks and perform network address assignment.

Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.

Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.

Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.

Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.

Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.

Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.

Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.

Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.

Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.

Job Requirements

Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science
MCP/MCSA/MCSE Certified
CCNA/CCNP Certified/Trained Engineer

Ability to lead and motivate others.

Ability to identify and resolve problems associated with operating system malfunctions.

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

Excellent knowledge of Windows Workstation and Servers, Hardware and software support.

Local Area Network (LAN) fundamentals and remote access troubleshooting, including network interface connection and user installation.

Abilities and Skills: dependability, scheduling, maintaining high confidentiality and independence, employees orientation and teamwork
