About Core Drillers

Job Summary

The plant operator shall be obligated to conduct all functions necessery for contineouse and safe operation of talc crushing, grinding and color sorting machines installed and commissioned in the plant site and ensure continous supply of required quality talc product for the clients and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities


Operate and maintain crushing, grinding and color sorting machines with emphasis on safety, plant preservation and specification of talc production as required.

Develop and implement a plan for operation of the plant that shall include all on/off skid equipment as well as processing adjustment (considering client requirement based on daily, weekly, monthly etc production)

Provide continuous operation of the plant which includes periodic/preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and unscheduled/unplanned maintenance of the plant and machineries.

Emphasis on safety and incorporate safety measures in all aspects of operations and maintenance.

Develop and implement safety plan that shall include lockout/tag out procedures, correct use of personnel protective equipments etc.

Recommend an inventory of tools, consumables and spare parts necessary to maintain un interrupted operations.

Development of an inventory control system for spare parts, consumables and periodic maintenance applicable to all machines within the plant.

Develop and maintain operation procedures

Consider the operation manual of each machinery.

Provide monthly progress report on status of operations, maintenance parts and training.

Any other task as assigned by the plant manager and required for safe operation of the plant.

Job Requirements


Grade 12+2 Diploma in mechanics or plant operation, Bachelor Degree in mechanics is preferred

Preferably with 5 years of experience working in various plants operations and related systems including installation, operations, maintenance and troubleshooting/repair

Knowledge of plant operations safety and applicable government environmental regulations

Specific experience with installed equipment desirable

Specific experience with process control and avoiding and when necessary correcting upset conditions.

Strong communication skills.

Understanding of alarm system to avoid any kind of damage
Understanding English language in order to well operate the machinery main computer system.
