Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Provincial Coordinator and in close collaboration with Operations Department and the Technical Advisor, the Team leader Agriculture implements and monitors MADERA activities supporting the development of Agriculture in both Taywara and Pasaband Districts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the implementation and monitoring of Madera’s agricultural activities (Wheat seeds multiplication, Support to vegetable cultivation, Development of potato cultivation, introduction of Saffron and other new crops cultivation etc.);
• Design and organize the extension works and the required trainings around activities;
• Liaise with the communities of the district and clarify Madera strategy in the related field;
• Strengthen the collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock at both district and provincial levels;
• Participate to necessary procurement and purchases;
• Respect all Madera procedures;
• Manage a team of 2 to 4 agro-technicians;
• Participate to the drafting of Monthly Fund Requests;
• Report about the progress of activities and the achievements on monthly basis;
• Propose orientations of the programme;

Job Requirement:

• Graduated from Agriculture university;
• At least 2 years experience with NGO or related sectors;
• Experience in conducting projects;
• Management and teaching capacities;
• Ease in relationship, adaptable to remote and rural context/areas;
• Organization, strictness and initiative;
• Computer operating skills (Word and Excel);
