About MADERA:

 

Job Summary:

 The National Solidarity Program Team Leader is responsible of the direct management and supervision of all NSP teams of his province.
 The Team Leader is expected to plan, implement and monitor all activities related to NSP in the province.
 The Team Leader is representing MADERA NSP Program in the provincial level to communities, local authorities, to the PMU and RRD.
 The Leader is also expected to have a very close collaboration with MADERA Provincial Coordinator

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Coordination of the Program in the provincial level
 To plan, implement and monitor the NSP teams activities in the province
 Holding at least one weekly meeting with Districts Manager of NSP to review the past weeks’ work plan and to agree on the coming week’s work plan
 To make sure activities are progression according to the work plans
 To conduct regular supervision and monitoring missions to the field
 To ensure that there is no discrepancies in MADERA and PMU data
 To identify, evaluate and solve issues related to the program
 To report about the very complex and problematic issues to the Program Manager
2) To represent MADERA NSP Program in the provincial level
 To meet with the local communities in order to know about their concerns (if any) about the Program. The issues must be solved as quickly as possible
 To meet the Provincial Management Unit and the Rural Rehabilitation Department of MRRD in the province to discuss about the Program and share concerns (if any).
 To meet with the provincial and district authorities to discuss the Program, its difficulties and achievements
3) To ensure a close collaboration with MADERA internal colleagues
 To hold regular meetings with MADERA Provincial Coordinator to inform him about the Program progress in the province and discuss concerns (if any).
 To meet on regular bases with MADERA’s other projects Team Leader to share experiences and lessons learned in regard with the project implementation
4) Reporting
 To suggest weekly work plans and send to the Program Manager and/ or his substitute for validation
 To prepare and send weekly, bi weekly and monthly Program Progress reports to the Program Manager
To prepare and send relevant reports to the PMU and RRD

Job Requirement:

• To be graduated from a Faculty (Bachelor),
• To have skill for project management, human resources management, budget follow up.
• Excellent skill of work with communities
• Excellent communication skills
• To be able to read, write and speak fluently, English and Local languages (Dari and Pashto).
• To have enough skills of computer, especially to be able to work on Excel and Word.
• To be wise, honest, rigorous and hard worker and feel responsibility for his duties.
• Work experience in community driven development and NSP program is compulsory.
