The Radio Technician will be responsible for installing and maintaining all aspects of equipment required in a radio station.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities â€“ including the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions require.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Trouble shooting and solving a wide verity of Technical Problems
â€¢ Soundproofing, Soldering, Solving Computer Problems (Installation, Maintenance, Drivers Update, Installation of Software and Updating, and Networking).
â€¢ Installing and configuring DVB Receivers to operate on the Z and S network.
â€¢ Installing and training of equipment when building a new station or upgrading an existing station.
â€¢ Installing, configuring and maintaining microwave IP radio Links.
willing to travel to up to 80%
Graduate 12 grade preferred or equivalent experience.
â€¢ Good Interpersonal and excellent organizational skills.
â€¢ Good oral and written communication skill.
â€¢ Ability to speak and understand English.
â€¢ Ability to use own initiative, common sense and act quickly on issues.
â€¢ Must know good electronics and be able to read schematics.
â€¢ Must have good computer skills including windows operation systems and networking.
â€¢ Must have knowledge of radio and TV design and operation.
â€¢Ability to travel within Logar and Wardak Province (all the remote areas)
â€¢Ability to work as part of a team
â€¢Computer (word, excel, internet, power-Radio softwareâ€™s)
