The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, old deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Define the product strategy and roadmap.
â€¢ Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
â€¢ Be an expert with respect to the competition.
â€¢ Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
â€¢ Perform product demos to customers.
â€¢ Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
â€¢ Deliver a monthly revenue forecast.
â€¢ Develop sales tools and collateral.
â€¢ Propose an overall budget to ensure success.
â€¢ Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings.
â€¢ Brief press and analysts and go on press tours.
â€¢ Bachelor of Engineering (Telecom, IT or CS), preferably experienced, but fresh graduate can also be considered.
â€¢ Experience in a telecommunication market of Afghanistan.
â€¢ Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
â€¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
â€¢ Excellent teamwork skills.
â€¢ Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
