Islamic Bank of Afghanistan has been incorporated as a banking institution under the Law of Banking applicable in Afghanistan and licensed according to the respective laws and regulations of Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB). Islamic Bank of Afghanistan is 100% subsidiary of Azizi Bank that is being operated in Afghanistan since 2009. The bank established 62 branches all over Afghanistan. It has a well-trained workforce of more than 800 employees at present. The promoters are committed to build a sound financial institution with a view to offer the utmost safety to the bank’s customers.

Job Summary

Teller will be working under supervision of line manager will work under capacity of below responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

ü Possessing the knowledge of banking procedures and transactions

ü Maintain Daily Report such as Tellers User voice Report, , Long Book

ü Make sure his cash is tallied with system

ü Handling deposits/withdrawals/Cash in/ Cash out as per customers’ needs

ü Ability of recognizing fake currencies

ü Ability to handle large cash amounts

ü Carry out cash check withdrawals

ü issue Bankers Cheque

ü Handle Western Union Money transactions

ü Perform other essential duties as directed by the competent authority

ü Provide quality customer service to clients

ü Capacity of SWOT analyze

ü Excellent written and verbal communications

ü Ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline

ü Proficiency in Computer Programs

ü Excellent communication skills (Pashto, Dari, English).

ü Self-motivated, team-oriented, ability to multi-task.
