PURPOSE:
The Training Coordinator is a cross-cutting position supporting the training with both the PSD and WfD teams. Their primary responsibility will involve logging and verification of WIE trainees through supporting documentation such as sign-in sheets, pre and post questionnaires and course evaluations. Duties will include inputting trainee data into the program’s monitoring and evaluation databases, as well as USAID required reporting systems (TrainNet). WIE trainees can include those involved in various capacity building efforts which may include: internships, apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and business training. The Training Coordinator will help to document training activities and help ensure adequate monitoring and evaluation of training activities.
OBJECTIVES AND DUTIES:
Manages regional training activity documentation and physical records. Keeps a complete record of the trainees' data including attendance sheets, evaluation forms, quiz results and etc. and report to the supervisor at the end of each training delivery.
Collaborates with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to determine required data and reporting needs for training.
Undertakes database entry and online reporting on TrainNet and others required by the monitoring and evaluation team.
Coordinates with Opportunity/Case officers for PSD and WfD to consolidate key data on upcoming training activities.
Identifies capable training providers and coordinates beneficiary training and capacity building activities.
Assesses documentation needs and provides proper reporting tools to contracted training providers, WIE staff and others as needed.
Ensures in-depth reporting on regional training issues and effective solutions in collaboration with the private sector development and workforce development teams.
Ensures adherence to training administrative procedures and guidelines, exercises quality control of reporting for training.
Continuously assesses training documentation progress, identifies issues, and improves documentation activities, including identifying any database development needs.
Able to travel for project tasks to Kabul and other provinces.
Any other task assigned by the line manager.
University Degree
1) Three to five years of experience in training coordination and reporting.
2) University degree preferred.
3) Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation of training.
4) Demonstrated detail-orientation and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, meet deadlines.
5) Proven interpersonal, reporting, and coordination skills.
6) Experience with workforce training and business development preferred.
7) Prior experience on a development or capacity-building program or initiative.
REPORTING:
The position reports to the Senior Regional Manager.
