About Nai-Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan:
Nai Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan is an Afghan media development NGO based in Kabul. Nai was launched in June 2004 and is registered and recognized by the Ministry of Economics of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Nai is also a full member of Internews International (www.internews.tv), an association uniting thirty-one autonomous non-profit organizations working for the development of independent, pluralistic and open media worldwide.
Job Summary:
The Training Manager will work under the Direction of Managing Director and will prepare weekly report , annual report , arranging of training. .
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordination with Hub on planning Trainings.
Preparing training Schedule for Kabul and Hubs.
Preparing of and Development of Training Method and Manuals.
Administration of Kabul and Hubs NGC Activities.
Conducting of Journalism Training and Hubs
Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
Deploy a wide variety of training methods
Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, and report on them
Manage training budget
Provide opportunities for ongoing development
Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.
Job Requirement:
Must have Bachelor Degree in Journalism Field.
Minimum 3 years’ in the field of training.
Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals Good computer and database skills
