Job Summary

Project translator/Interpreter will provide written and consecutive spoken translation from English to Dari and Pashto and from Dari and Pashto to English. He/She will support all project components when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Highly technical meetings with official and business people (regarding business development, business trainings, marketing in domestic and international markets through opening trade fairs.
•Internship programs for Afghan Universities’ students and their graduation ceremonies.
•Translating/Interpreting all workshops, trainings, seminars, as well as work plans and ceremonies documents.
•Keeping abreast of current events in regard to the project activities and translate them as required.
•Manage communications with potential candidates for proposals to USAID
•Taking notes and keeping records of meetings as requested.
•Filing, storing and printing completed documents and/ maintaining a computer filing system to store, retrieve and update documents.

Job Requirements

•Preferably University graduate
•2 to 3 years of work experience in the field
•Understanding of the Business environment
•Highly organized and able to work independently.
•Willingness to travel extensively.
•Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
•Public speaking skills
