Under the direct guidance of the youth Information Center In â€“Charge, Youth vocational trainer will perform the following tasks!
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Assist in establishment of vocational training for youth and provide necessary information to visitors and clients.
â€¢ Assist in selection of peer educators and peer groups as per program requirement and provide regular support and feed back for the peer educators as well as to center in-charge.
â€¢ Provide regular and quality technical training to peer educators/youth coming to the center.
â€¢ Assist in organizing monthly meeting, interaction sessions for peer educators and clients.
â€¢ Assist in training, orientation, and interaction sessions for peer educators and clients.
â€¢ Create a data base of peer educators of the related training course and their activities in your working area and submit to center in-charge.
â€¢ Take regular attendance of the peer educators and clients of relevant training class under your working area.
â€¢ Collect month fee from the peer educators/client under the direct guidance of the center-in charge and submitted all the financial documents to the center in-charge
â€¢ Responsible to provide regular support and good management of Youth Information Center
â€¢ Develop /Submit monthly update activity work plan and monthly activity report to center in-charge.
â€¢ Ensure the timely completion of training batch for each class and starting of new class reflected in the work plan.
â€¢ Ensure adequate supply of advocacy materials (IEC/BCC) material to peer educators/clients in the center is available for broadly distribution.
â€¢ Any other assignments given by the supervisor as the field requires
1. High school completion certificate
2. Strong both oral and written communication, advocacy and negotiation skills, experience in training is an asset;
3. Good communication skills
4. Good computer skill
5. Knowledge in oral and written English, Dari and Pashto
