The purpose of this endline assessment is to measure the achievements of indicators of programme success in the Afghanistan CBHP programme geography (7 provinces) both with the intention of measuring change and to give further data for programme planning.
Objectives: The objective of the end-line assessment is to measure the impact of implemented Community Based Health Project and to compare with base-line assessment of this three years project in targeted communities of 6 provinces plus Kabul city. Also, the endline assessment report will be used as a reference for the next 4 years CBH programming in Afghanistan under FRC funding support. Several objectives are determined to see the results into below mentioned areas: Current practices and health behaviour of targeted communities after implementation of 3 years CBH project. WASH intervention impact on healthy life of targeted communities. Community needs against actual CBH services provided to the communities. Community engagement and gender inclusion in project implementation.
All objectives will be answered by the end-line assessment findings and reported to IFRC-ARCS and funding partner. Scope: The scope of the endline assessment is households survey, focus group discussion (FGD) and key informant interview (KII) in 7 targeted provinces for CBH Project (IFRC and ARCS staff and volunteers at HQ and field included).
