Job Summary:

FLAG International Afghanistan is recruiting for a project based SME Needs Assessment Surveyor for a 1 month market study in the province of Bamyan.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1.Assist in project oversight in assessment of SME needs.
2.Prepare questionnaire papers for SME needs assessment and market infrastructure.
3.Identify the market bottlenecks that local SMEs and business associations face and provide support for sustainable cooperation among the SMEs.
4.Conduct interviews to business owners and other relevant stakeholders.
5.Identify local SMEs challenges in accessing tools, skills and inputs for improved production, value-addition and marketing activities.
6.Assist local SMEs to increase their access to finance and markets, as well as to provide recommendations for SMEs to meet the increasing needs of local consumers.
7.Provide technical assistance to the local SMEs to skill up and develop strategic production and operations plans.
8.Assess, evaluate and prioritize local SMEs needs to improve market grants.
9.Any other work assigned by Project Manager.

Job Requirement:

1.1 year experience in related field. Recent University graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for the position.
2.A Bachelors degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources.
3.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
4.Experience in SME lending, commercial banking and BDS experience is preferable.
5.Strong English speaking, writing, and reading skills
