Job Summary:
The Plumber performs work in support of all plumbing operations to include maintenance, repair, and construction tasks for base facilities maintenance program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform installation and repairs on all plumbing systems, components, and equipment
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and complete required documentation
Install and service electric water heaters
Locate and repair defective fixtures and pipes
Assemble and install showers, sinks, toilets, urinals, and related fixtures
Perform installation service and repair on all sewage lines, drainage systems, septic tanks, and leach fields work on HVAC system
Install all piping for potable and non-potable water production
Read and complete daily assignments and work orders
Lead and advise assigned helpers
Maintain clean and safe work site
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirement:
Minimum four (4) years of plumbing experience in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, or in construction project at the field water supply and sewage system
Hands-on experience in performing installation and repair on potable water lines, sewage lines, fixtures, plumbing appliances, water closet, sinks, showers, traps, water heaters, and pumps
at lest Diploma from Kabul Polytechnic University or equivalent
Skill in proper and safe use of power tools and hand tools
be Able to work with different Situation
Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
